2nd RMOS Summit
We are really honoured to welcome all of you in Italy, in the wonderful Naples, to discuss how to “build your innovation: tips and tricks in regenerative orthopaedics”.
The facility of the luxurious leading Grand Hotel Vesuvio will host us in this three-days event organised by the Board of the Regenerative Medicine Orthopaedics Society (RMOS) focused on joint preservation for all our patients that wish to continue their active lifestyle and save their joints, desiring to continue to be active and highly sporty.
The objective of this educational event is to train and educate physicians, allied staff and physiotherapists in the most recent advances in the management of knee, shoulder and ankle joint pathologies by highly qualified and world-renowned International and Regional Faculty Members.
The Summit President Fabio Valerio Sciarretta has planned an innovative program, where all the RMOS experts, divided in different Academies, together with most important global experts will present and interactively discuss with all the panel members and the international audience most recent advancements in mini-invasive and regenerative treatment procedures enabling repair, regeneration and preservation of all articular structures – from the menisci to the ligaments, from the articular cartilage to the bone – without neglecting the importance of restoring an optimal and healthy joint environment, correcting axial deformities and eliminating joint instabilities. Last but not least, the lectures of the last session will focus on new techniques and tips and tricks that may transform resurfacing and uni’s implantation in an outpatient procedure.
The Summit program will, therefore, follow a well-defined trail, leading the participants to recognise the various types of joint derangement and deal all the possibly encountered lesions, most often resorting to the repair, often biological repair, of meniscal, ligament and cartilage lesions, without forgetting that always more often we encounter complex joint damages where soft tissues tears are associated to malalignments and instabilities, conducting to extremely complex additional surgical procedures.
Our renown premier members Fabio Sciarretta, Tahsin Beyzadeoglu and George Skarpas together with the Emeritus Professor Rene Verdonk, the mosaicplasty inventor Prof. Laszlo Hangody, the translational research world leaders, Prof. Laura de Girolamo and Lucienne Vonk, and all the most renowned Italian Sports Medicine, Regenerative Medicine and Orthopaedics leaders in their own country and in several international societies will be happy to meet you face to face and through the dense.
