Dr. Dušan Marić is a revered figure in the medical field, specializing in regenerative orthopedics. He holds the esteemed title of Professor and earned his Ph.D. in the same specialization. Dr. Marić is the Founder and CEO of Orto-MD Novi Sad, an institution aimed at pioneering advances in orthopedic care.

Educational Milestones and Pioneering Achievements
Dr. Marić’s educational journey is marked by exemplary achievements. He graduated from medical school in 1984 and earned his medical degree in 1992, both from the University of Novi Sad. His Ph.D., also from the University of Novi Sad, was conferred in 2009. Dr. Marić holds diplomas in pediatric surgery (1992) and orthopedic surgery (2005). Notably, he was the first to introduce regenerative orthopedics in Serbia, making him a pioneer in the field. His academic contributions include authoring and co-authoring over 100 professional papers and monographs.
Professional Affiliations and Board Memberships
Dr. Marić is not only an active clinician but also a significant contributor to various medical associations and boards. He has been an official doctor for the gymnastics team of Serbia since 2011. He is a member of multiple medical associations, including the Serbian Medical Society, Serbian Orthopedic and Traumatological Association, and the International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology. Furthermore, he serves on the scientific board of the Global Regenerative Academy and is a co-founder and co-owner of Vincula Biotech Group. He is a full professor at Medical College, University of Novi Sad, and associate professor at Dentistry Medical college, Pancevo.
Founding Roles and Recognitions
In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Marić has also been instrumental in founding several departments and associations. He established the first clinic for regenerative orthopedics in the area, known as Orto-MD. He is also the founder and president of the Association for Regenerative Orthopedics in Serbia since 2014. His leadership roles extend to academia, where he leads the elective subject of Regenerative Medicine at the Medical Faculty of Novi Sad.
