Prof. Dr. Gazi Huri is a faculty member in the Department of Sports Surgery at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. In 2019, he was elected as a member of the “Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons (ABJS),” a prestigious organization of leading orthopedic surgeons worldwide. Additionally, he has been appointed as the head of the European Federation of Orthopedics and Traumatology’s Sports and Shoulder Surgery training group. Furthermore, Dr. Huri continues to serve as a board member for the Turkish Orthopedic Society Education Council, the Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Society.
From 2012 to 2014, he worked as a research doctor at the “Johns Hopkins University” Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, specializing in Shoulder and Sports Surgery, one of the world’s leading medical faculties. During this period, he conducted significant research and projects.
In 2018, he was awarded the International Young Surgeon Scholarship by the American Academy of Orthopaedics Surgeon, one of the world’s most prestigious orthopedic and traumatology organizations, and earned the privilege of being a visiting faculty member at Stanford University.
Dr. Gazi Huri, was honored with the “Outstanding Young Scientist Award” (TUBA-GEBIP) by the Turkish Academy of Sciences.
He has numerous internationally published articles and research in the field of shoulder and sports surgery, and he has authored 3 books.Married and has a kid
