Ramazan Akmeşe, MD
Professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology

Born in 1975 in Germany. Prof Akmeşe graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (English) in 2000. Between 2001-2006, he completed his specialisation in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Ibni Sina Hospital and became a specialist doctor. After his state service obligation and military service, he worked as Chief Assistant at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital between 2010-2013.
In 2013, he started to work at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Ibni Sina Hospital. As of 2014, Dr Akmeşe, who continued his duty as a faculty member at the same faculty, gained the title of Assistant Professor in 2014 and Associate Professor in 2015. He became a Professor in 2021. Between 2021-2023, he worked as a faculty member at Haliç University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. In 2020 Dr Ramazan Akmeşe started accepting patients in his private practice in Ankara and works as a member of Çankaya Orthopedics Group. In 2023 he established his own Orthopaedics and Sports Injuries Clinic in Ankara and continues to accept patients here with his team.
Prof Akmeşe has received special training in Sports Injury surgery, Arthroscopy surgery (Knee, Shoulder, Hip, Ankle), Foot-Ankle surgery and Joint surgery. He provides service and training within the scope of these subjects. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Akmeşe who has many scientific articles published in national and international journals, book chapter authorships has taken part as an organiser, invited speaker and trainer in many national and international courses and meetings.
