Reha N. Tandogan is a senior member of Cankaya Orthopaedics, Ankara, Turkey a 15 surgeon private group specializing in joint preserving surgery and arthroplasty and is the Chairman of the Dept. of Orthopedics & Traumatology, Halic University, Istanbul. His main focus is arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee, including multi-ligament injuries, cartilage repair, orthobiologics, osteotomies, primary and revision knee arthroplasty & robotic knee surgery
Dr. Tandogan is the Chairman of EKA (European Knee Associates) section of ESSKA (European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy). He is also the Associate Editor of the KSSTA (Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy) Journal.
Dr. Tandogan has a keen interest in orthobiologics and is a board member of Global Regenerative Academy, a multi-specialty, multi-national collaboration of scientists working of various aspects of regenerative medicine. He is also a board member of Regenerative Medicine Orthopedic Society.
He has served as the President of the Turkish Society of Sports Traumatology and is the former president of the Turkish Society of Preventive Hip Surgery. He is a former board member and an active instructor in the Turkish Society of Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy & Knee Surgery.
Dr. Tandogan is the author of 1 English and 10 Turkish books on knee surgery & sports traumatology. He has published 83 scientific articles in international journals and 75 articles in the Turkish literature (h-index 29). Dr. Tandogan is very active in teaching and education, he lectures extensively in national and international meetings, regularly organizes cadaver courses and symposia.
