- In October 2018, Gokhan Meric,MD,Prof. was selected by ESSKA-EKA (European Knee Arthroplasty) as one of the 3 promising orthopedists under the age of 40 in Europe and was received training in knee surgery.
- Since March 2017, he has been working as a faculty member at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine Istanbul-Turkey, and head of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology
- In Turkey, fresh osteochondral allograft transplantation was performed for the first time in Yeditepe University Hospital by Gökhan Meric, MD, in 2019
- He has over 40 scientific articles published in international and national scientific journals, over 50 international and national papers, authored chapters in many books, and edited scientific journals. He has contributed to many national and international meetings as a speaker.
He has great interest in orthobiology and exosome therapy. He has performed research about mesenchymal stem cell therapy and exosomes.
